Join Greg Hunter of USAWatchdog.com[1] as he goes one-on-One with precious metals expert Bill Murphy, Chairman of GATA.
Bill Murphy, Chairman of the Gold Anti-Trust Action Committee (GATA) is most bullish on silver. Murphy says, “For anyone that wants to get involved in precious metals, silver is going to be a home run. It actually just started. . . . Gold goes first because the physical market is tight. Then, the industry and silver people are going to make sure they have secure supply, and all of a sudden it’s going to be like a panic. . . Silver is the bargain of a lifetime. It’s certainly the cheapest asset on the planet.”

The online edition of the Windhoek Observer reported that the review panel of the Central Procurement Board (CPB) has rejected an appeal that was filed by Prestige Diamond and Global Diamond Valuators Namibia, with regard to the awarding of the diamond valuation tender to Gem Diamonds Namibia. The panel decided in past July that there was no legal merit to the filed appeal.
"Alternatively, the Review Panel found no evidence that the warding of the tender is marred by irregularities as alleged by the applicants. In the result the Review Panel makes the following order: That the applications for review in terms of Section 59(1) of the Public Procurement Act, No.15 of 2015, lodged by Prestige Diamonds and Global Diamonds Valuators, respectively, and which were in the end consolidated into one action, are hereby dismissed in terms of Section 60(a)," the ruling by the panel said.
"It is … reasonable and logical not to expect a bidder to provide a total bid amount based on an unknown quantity of items of which the sought services are to be rendered" the report said.
Two companies had challenged the awarding process that saw Gem Diamonds Namibia emerging on the top of the tender process, "despite concerns over its lack of expertise in the diamond valuation space and its higher bid price," the Windhoek Observer wrote.
"The decision by the two companies to appeal the decision to award Gem Diamonds Namibia the tender, was in line with the Central Procurement Board of Namibia regulations that losing bidders have seven days after the awarding of a tender to delay the final award and bring the matter under review."
"Under the existing system...

"De Zeen" website reports on a Louis Vuitton exhibition that showcases its collaborations with leading artists over the past 160 years, complete with custom bags and a tropical pop-up shop.
The Louis Vuitton X[1] exhibition can be seen at 468 North Rodeo Drive building in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. It has 180 items from the French fashion house's archive on display.
The items are displayed in ten vibrantly coloured rooms. Some of the exhibition spaces are dark black with colorful glowing light designs, while others resemble crisp white galleries or museums with glass-fronted displays.
One exhibit room features checkerboard walls, ceiling and floors in a dusty rose colour. Chunks of the room depict a turquoise ocean with a boat, dock and cliffs. Another space has white walls covered with Louis Vuitton in black font, layered with dozens of colourful contemporary paintings.
Included in the exhibition are six Louis Vuitton Monogram leather duffle bags that have been reinterpreted by renowned artists and designers, including the late Karl Lagerfeld and Zaha Hadid, as well as Rei Kawakubo, Yayoi Kusama, Cindy Sherman and Frank Gehry.
Another highlight of the exhibit is Louis Vuitton's latest Artycapucines collection, a collaborative project with six contemporary artists who have custom designed Capucines bags for the label. Sam Falls, Urs Fischer, Nicholas Hlobo, Alex Israel, Tschabalala Self and Jonas Wood each created a design.

'Central Planning' loses before it even begins. In America, central planning of the economy was cemented into place when the U.S. Congress established the monopolist Federal Reserve in 1913. The seeds were planted then, and they have been bearing...
