(IDEX Online) - For Valentine's Day, Domino's Australia is giving one lucky pizza lover the chance to win a one-of-a-kind diamond "en-crust-ed" engagement ring valued at over AU$9,000 ($6,000).

The ring in question features an 18-karat yellow and white gold base topped with diamond "cheese' and 'pepperoni' rubies. The ring has over 1 carat of diamonds.

For a chance to win this slice of heaven, applicants must submit a 30-second video detailing how they would involve Domino's pizza in their proposal.

Domino's said it will help make the plans a reality and gift the pizza slice engagement ring for the big moment. The company will even cater the wedding.

"Pizza is made to be shared with the ones we love, so this year we want to honour that with something really special and help create the greatest, if not the cheesiest, proposal ever," said Domino's chief marketing officer ANZ, Allan Collins....

U.S. Treasury expects to borrow $367 billion in first quarter

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Treasury Department on Monday said it plans to borrow less in the first quarter of this year than it previously forecast.

In a statement, Treasury said it would borrow $367 billion during the January-March quarter, $22 billion less than its previous estimate, assuming an end-March cash balance of $400 billion.

It said the reduction in borrowing was due to changes in fiscal projections in which a lower cash deficit was “somewhat offset” by a lower beginning quarter cash balance.

In October, Treasury said it expected to issue $389 billion in net marketable debt in the January-March period.

Treasury said it expects to pay down $56 billion during the April-June quarter, assuming an end-June cash balance of $400 billion.

It borrowed $330 billion through credit markets in the Oct-Dec quarter of last year, ending the period with $404 billion in cash.

Additional details of Treasury’s quarterly refunding will be announced at 08:30 a.m (1230 GMT) on Wednesday.

(IDEX Online) - As fears over the spread of the coronavirus mount, show organizers in Hong Kong have announced that some upcoming events have been postponed.

The Hong Kong Trade and Development Council (HKTDC) has moved the HKTDC Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show 2020 (originally scheduled for March 2-6) and the HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show 2020 (originally scheduled for March 4-8) to May 18-21. The twin shows will be concurrently held at the AsiaWorld-Expo.

HKTDC said the move is in line with the measures taken by the Hong Kong SAR Government against the spread of the novel coronavirus, and was done after consultation with representatives of the jewelry industry.

The SEASONS | Spring - Fashion Jewellery & Accessories Fair, which was scheduled for March 3-6 has also been postponed. Show organizer Informa Markets has not announced the new date.

"The safety of our customers and our staff is always our top priority," Informa Markets wrote in an email. "As such, we are taking precautions and safety measures as recommended by the local Departments of Health in Hong Kong and China as well as the World Health Organisation (WHO) seriously."...
