(IDEX Online) – Lucapa Diamond Company said it has completed the third sale of 2017 of alluvial diamonds from the Lulo Diamond Project in Angola.<?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /?>

 

The parcel of 1,919 carats achieved gross sale proceeds of $2.5 million, representing an average price per carat of $1,317, according to a company statement.

 

"The latest sale brought the gross proceeds from Lulo diamond sales to date in 2017 to US$13.2 million, at an average price per carat of US$2,055."

 

The 92-carat D-color diamond recovered after the third sale export from new Mining Block 28 will be included in the next sale, the firm said....
