(IDEX Online) - Underscoring the importance of the Far East market, 21 companies will exhibit in the Israel Diamond Pavilion at the upcoming Hong Kong International Jewelry Manufacturers' show (HKJMA).

The pavilion will be located in Hall 1 of the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre and will feature the Diamonds Show database of Israeli exhibitors available in English and Chinese. 

Sales to Asia represent about 30 percent of Israel's total polished diamond exports. Despite the slowdown in the Hong Kong and Chinese markets, Israeli exhibitors hope that the show's timing, before the Chinese New Year, will attract many trade and consumer visitors looking to make last-minute purchases before the busy holiday season.

HKJMA attracts buyers from mainland China, Taiwan, the Philippines, Indonesia and other parts of Asia Pacific. The show takes place from November 28 to December 1....
